We offer both online tutoring and face-to-face tutoring for students in the Braintree area.

Emlyn is our main tutor, supported by Sue who is our statistics specialist and loves to help with this part of the course. She can answer your questions between sessions whether you are stuck on a maths problem between sessions or you have an admin enquiry. Sue is available during the morning for tutoring adults or home schoolers who prefer day time learning.

Basic plan (£30/hour):

• A free 45-minute introductory session to discuss a teaching plan, make sure you can access the whiteboard, find out whether we need to purchase a copy of your textbook, agree the payment method, and agree a regular time slot for the week.
• One weekly session of an hour’s tuition guided by your needs.

Standard plan
(£30/week for KS2. £35/week for KS3 and older):

• A free 45-minute introductory session to discuss a teaching plan, make sure you can access the whiteboard, find out whether we need to purchase a copy of your textbook, agree the payment method, and find a regular time slot for the week
• One hour of tuition plus homework suggestions
• Regular short assessments to review progress
• Regular feedback
• Mid-week support via mobile where you may need help with a particular problem that is stopping you progress
• Links to recommended video clips to support your learning between sessions where relevant

Premium plan (£40+/week) :

This might suit home schoolers who are looking for s tutor to take them to GCSE or adults wanting a ‘crammer’ course for an examination needed for the workplace.

We will discuss with you what you need but this plan might include

• Homework set and marked between tutoring sessions.
• Tailor made teaching clips for extra support between sessions as needed.
• Use of a teaching platform such as Dr Frost from which to set tasks, ensure complete coverage of the relevant specification and review progress on an ongoing basis.
